    Xavi Hernández

Come on, he has to be kicked out now. Utterly pointless to spend another 6 months with a garbage coach who has no future in the game (as coach). And he should take Laporta with him, classless amateurs both of them.

La Liga Round 2: Barca - Cadiz 2-0

Our coach is sh!t and needs to go. Lewa is a disaster signing that he pushed for. All our talents are regressing. Balde, Pedri, Gavi all worse than a year ago. We cannot afford to be sentimental. He has no pedigree and was a gamble, he needs to go NOW!

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

The spine (Busi, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi) of our team seems burned out to me. Especially Xavi, who is the most important when it comes to dictating tempo. I think they have played too many games for too long and have lost that edge, both mentally and physically. If we could give them all a years...

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

Our play has been too slow and indirect since we won the CL in 2011. It was this way in Pep's last season, it was the same under Tito, and it's still the same under Tata. Maybe the coach is not the real problem?

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I for one am not unhappy that Cristiano won. Leo with something to prove again might turn out to be a very good thing for Barca. And maybe Ronaldo will lose some of his motivation now that he finally has won the Ballon d'Or again, which obviously means the world to him. But most importantly...

    Penal Madrid

Surely we can find €6m for Mathieu somewhere. He would instantly be our 2nd best CB and arguably our best.

    Barca/City combined starting XI

Yes I do. But please enlighten me. Because besides the inclusion of Fernandinho (and maybe Clichy but Alba hasn't played forever) I can't see what's really debateable about that team. Kompany > all our defenders. Yaya > all our midfielders. Aguero and Negredo > all our forwards bar Messi.

    Barca/City combined starting XI

Something like: Valdes Zabaleta Kompany Pique Clichy Fernandinho Yaya Cesc Aguero Negredo Messi But then again I don't think we have been very good this season.

    Barca draws Man City

I think we should approach the away leg like Pep used to do. Xavi or Cesc as the most offensive midfielder and Iniesta in attack with Messi and one of Neymar/Alexis/Pedro. Try to control the ball at all times without attacking too much (and leaving space for City). I fear we'll get overrun if we...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Why does this not apply to Busquets who gave the ball away several times in dangerous positions?

    10 - Lionel Messi - v2

Messi deserves more slack than anyone else in the history of Barca. So let's give it to him!
  12. Michael

    Neymar - v2

It originates from SPORT which means it's a Rosell-plant designed to make the €50m we'll pay look like a good deal. So I guess that's it. Welcome Neymar. I hope you succeed.

    Cesc Fàbregas

Not that I'm Catalan, but Cesc is not well liked in Barca, that's for sure. The booing against Bayern was not the first time. Is he being scape-goated? Certainly. But his attitude and general body language has been crap since day one. And he's an idiot in front of a microphone which hurts him...

    Neymar - v2

Yeah, I think it's possible to get €10m for a Spanish international who is what, 24? Not that I want to sell him.
  15. Michael

    Neymar - v2

Alexis is fast and knows how to dribble. We told him not to, though, because the focus of the team has been possession-football, and when you dribble you're likely to lose the ball. If tactics doesn't change we will school Neymar in the same way for sure. I haven't watched a lot of Neymar, I'll...

    Neymar - v2

Why do people think Neymar is better than Pedro and Alexis? I don't understand that part. To me Neymar is a lot of hype and a lot of wishful thinking. I'd MUCH rather get Suarez, or if people can't stomach him, then someone like Reus.
  17. Michael

    Xavi Hernández

Yep, this is the biggest problem besides the obvious (Tito). I can't see us challenging for the CL with him as a fixed starter anymore. That doesn't mean I hate Xavi or don't appreciate what he has done for the club, though. I fear the Raul comparison is an accurate one.
  18. Michael

    Francesc "Tito" Vilanova

You don't 'rest' players when you're down 5-0 in a CL-semi! It's utterly disgraceful, especially considering the league is done and there's no games to rest them for. He's a joke!

If Barca get a new coach, who should it be?

Paolo di Canio! Time to get stuck in! ;) But seriously, somebody like Simeone ticks all the boxes for me. He reminds me of Pep in a way. I wouldn't mind Klopp either, but he would have to learn the language quickly (if he doesn't speak it already). The coach has to be able to communicate...

    Should Barca keep Tito?

My LOL was at the suggestion that we should be happy about not being the best and essentially just let the team slide. I think we should bring in a new coach because Tito has not been able to create a sense of competitiveness in the squad. He knows the players too well, I think, and therefore...
