I just haven't been posting much, been a lot to do. Generally been keeping on top of what's been going on, but obviously missed Bravo's injury

What annoyed me more than the goals he let in was how he kept booting the ball instead of playing short passes

Think he should have done better on the first goal but it was an extremely well taken shot by Nolito. Can't blame him at all for the second and third. Could have done slightly better on fourth as well but even if he could have done slightly better on the first and fourth goal, they weren't huge mistakes as some people make it out to be. Not to mention both the first and fourth goal (and 2nd and 3rd) should never be allowed to happen in the first place but did because our defense was a fucking shamble.

He has been poor though lately but I still believe in him.

Honestly, pure defensive blunder.

Nolito had one of those games, 2 WC goals that make any GK look bad. 3rd goal I think TS should have approached and cut the attacker (he was already in a 1v1 situation, why not try to sweep) but he seemed quite glued to this position. 4th goal is a good play by Celta and a very negligent defensive attitude overall (probably not giving a fuck at that point)

Whoever thought Bravo's injury would be a blessing for TS confidence is having second thoughts.

I don't think anyone is blaming him for all the goals. I think more of us are just wondering when he's going to start making big saves. Even the most gifted keepers make mistakes and can't stop everything. However, mats has been making mistakes and not showing up to the occasion of making some big saves. Some of those shots were really good, some were mediocre.

Valdez had some games where he couldn't do anything, he had some games though where he made some big saves against some very good shots. I seem to be repeating myself, but some of you are just not understanding the point I'm trying to make.

To play for Barcelona he needs to be better.

You have to wonder too if maybe Bravo organises and communicates with his defence better? Ter Stegen just can't stop conceding while Bravo gets endless clean sheets it seems.

Bravo definitely is better at this moment in time. Ter Stegen makes mistakes, but some of the team's fuck ups gets thrown onto him. On the other hand, he should be able to deal better with shots, even if he isn't at fault for them going in. If you think about it, a keeper rated as high as he should be accounted for more in terms of defensive responsibility.

To a certain extent the criticism is justified. He needs to up his game. I also have a sense that he seems to concede at least one goal quite a lot, while Bravo comes away with numerous clean sheets. Perhaps it is something to do with the language or team chemistry. Whichever it is, he was bought because of his reputation. He has the talent, so patience should only be a small cost in the greater scope of things.
