Initial timetable was a return at beginning of January. He continues to work his way back from the foot fracture he suffered - progressively loading the foot and building fitness

It's risky only because he has been injured this season. But his scoring record for the national team has been impressive and that includes 6 goals shared between Germany, Italy and Croatia.

He should be able to work here and his linkup play seems far above Antony and Adeyemi which it seems what Xavi is looking for given how he has used Jutgla. I assume Ferran would be forward for us.

Adeyemi is the opposite of someone 'proven'. Being proven at Prem and LaLiga level is as good as you can get most of the time, as opposed to Segunda B level Austrian Bundesliga.

Dude what? What have Antony or Adeyemi showed compared to Ferran? Ferran has had great games with both City and with the NT. He's the safest choice out of the three, and it's not even close.
