This deal would make absolutely no sense at all if it's just a straight swap. They get a guy who can score you 15 to 20 goals a season and we get a midfielder who hasn't played that well for a while.... not to mention, he's not that big of a scorer. We literally lose one of our main scorers just to save some money on the wage bill. Don't get me wrong, Griezmann isn't that good, but I would rather have him than Saul.
Watch it be a loan deal and we'll still pay for half of Griezmann's salary.
It is about the salary and Barca will lose 30+ goals/assists but would hope Depay/Fati/Aguero and even FDJ and Pedri can all help with that in comparison to last season.
