Why would you bring that 30yo old man for 70mil value (lol) to Barcelona is beyond me. At least brin de bruyne If you still want to sell a young midfielder

The deal is like 45 for Arthur and 30-35 for Pjanic. The numbers are way inflated lol, especially now during Coronavirus when prices are expected to drop.

People say oh Arthur is on low wages. What about his next renewal, would he still he on low wages? Lmfao I think not he is friends with Neymar and he might tell him to leave for free or some shit better to get rid off this unprofessional bum and get Pjanic as a stop gap

Would anyone really have that much of an issue if he ended up staying and later proving he deserves a contract renewal? He's already on a long term deal until at least 2024/5.

His wages are probably low enough that even if he gets a renewal it will still probably be lower than what we are offering a 30-year-old Pjanic.

This forum itself was calling him our best midfielder before corona, football fans have literally no memory lmao, suddenly this guy is not good enough for us and we should sell him. This guy is 23 and there is literally not a midfielder in the world that I would swap him with. Wouldn't sell for anything under 120m, especially knowing how these morons would spend the money

Buying for inflated prices isn't good in the long run though, not sure how exactly that works in Spain but assuming it works similar to Germany that just means you make things a lot harder for yourself the next years. Arthur was quite cheap in the books, selling him means big profit now but on the other side Pjanic will end up as one of the most expensive signings if the price really goes up to like 70M.

Knowing the board he'll be on huge wages as well so not so easy to sell, and if so it'll be on a big loss. Selling cheap players like Arthur or Cillessen for big sums is good but if you have to get old expensive bums like Neto and Pjanic in return it just shows the shitty business model these guys run. One short term solution after the next both sporting wise and financially. That's the stuff that seriously messes up your finances in the long run, no healthy club should be forced into sales or these shady swap deals regularly to "balance the books".

I wonder how happy people will be when they use the capital gain and settling the books here just to throw 111m at Lautaro Martinez in July :D

Can't believe this is happening. We just hit a new low. One of the few remaining players that I enjoy watching and is not about to retire and we are selling him.

Completely unrelated, but, seeing players with names such as Arthur, or James, and realize they are not from the UK or whatever, but...Brazil? Colombia? Its so weird.
Whats next, George from Argentina?

At least Pjanic is a better forward/progressive passer than Arthur so short-term he could be an improvement.

Although it would suck to see Thiago leave Bayern to join Liverpool or some shit when he would be absolutely perfect for us. No adaptation needed. A better midfielder than Pjanic and more agile and quicker.

There is Luka in Argentina

Well if we are spending money on Lautaro and that means Saurez will not play, I will donate some money

Sarri is gonna make Arthur a world class deep lying playmaker.

Wait till you guys see Pjanic wages here. Y'all gonna cry.

But hey, Pjanic is gonna boss for one season and maybe Club30 has one final CL push next year before Barto leaves the new board in the shitter with high wages, old men and ugly wags. It is what it is.
