It only won't matter if he can go to Juve and start immediately putting on world class performances week in week out. That would make people forget about everything else very quickly, but it also is not likely to happen.
Being a top professional cannot make up for a lack of talent, but is certainly gives you more leniency and forgiveness from your coach and pretty much everyone else. He'll also likely play with Cristiano so he has a beacon of professionalism and Alex Sandro who also speak Portuguese right there on his side of the pitch to learn from and mesh with. If he's daft enough to not try to make that work from the start then fair enough. These things are often about a group fit as much as they are about personal responsibility. We'll see.

We don't know what the club did to force him to sign for Juve. If they benched him just so he would sign for Juve and allow the Pjanic deal to happen to make that finance stuff happening, I'd be pissed as well.

Juventus upping their financial offer and the input of players such as Alves has played a part as well.
