@JamDav1982
of course, if you think so. There is no right or wrong in this case, I do not believe that at least. I am more concerned about our problems and the way the board treated some of our players, Perez, for example. I am also not happy with our manager, publicly, belittling one of his players.

Opposite for me.

I wish club were more ruthless than caring so much about players feelings or bitching if time comes to move them on.

The problem is they are very ruthless with the easy targets, and complete pussies with the big names. Some consistency wouldn't hurt.

Too bad they couldn't be ruthless with Rakitic for two summers, or be ruthless when he cried on Spanish television about how they took the football away from him.

Maybe Arthur being forced out will be the catalyst for him to become a better professional and Sarri style may suit him better.

Doesnt mean he would have stayed and become a top player at Barca.

All can do is make decision at this point and Arthur was not even lasting 90 minutes let alone playing well enough.

Yeah. Depends on the personal response. Some players get a chip on their shoulder, others do a Robinho.
But I'd certainly say it matters not, because the current 'project' won't last much longer so no point making a meal out of it. It'd take lots of luck to get more from him in his formative years in the current state of things at Barca so he probably wouldn't be much use to you in the long run.

Why? Most sold off players are playing at a level where they belong.

I'm not sure. I just remembered the good old days where any decent player who happened to flop at Real or got forced out as improvement was available was touted as being 'ruined by RM' in the media.

Arthur, Malcom, Coutinho... and counting!

They lose their muscle when dealing with veterans. Especially veterans with connections in the team.

That is what my point is while you seem to think it is disrespectful to use tactics to force players out and they have then free reign to behave how they see fit.

I would like club to be ruthless with all of them.

Juicy stuff. I want everything about the board to blow up in their face.

Pretty sure the board were cleared of those accusations by an external audit from PwC just a few weeks back. Maybe there are some damning bits in the full report, but the conclusion is still clear.

Don't hope for the worst and believe everything you read just because it could harm the image of someone you don't like.

Leave that sort of stuff to the political cults and celebrity gossip.

I wouldn't mind if they told Rakitic that he won't get registered to play any competitions for Barca and that they'll take his shirt number from him if he doesn't leave.

It's the conclusions the club drew. Who knows what's in the full report. They didn't even let the club's own compliance officer see it or investigate the matter.

In any case the socis are entitled to full transparency, something this board have never believed in.

Fair enough, and based on your comments on Messi and other big names, it checks out. I'm not against that, just think that Arthur wasn't the one to go first. I would've had a bit more patience with him.

2.4million cases of CV in Brasil and counting. Arthur could of just said he was showing symptoms or something and can't fly. Just saying. Way easier than refusing to return.

:lol::lol: with people saying both parties are to be blamed 'equally' .
Arthur is the victim in this case. Check your victim blaming..

:lol: also with people saying the club to act likewise with all players.
Why do you think they are not doing the same to the Amigos?

What's the word for exerting power over the weak, and bending over to the strong?

Yes, and it's sad that Bartomeu and co have turned Barca into a RM.
Barca was about being patient with players and putting them into a structure and a football plan.
Madrid was all about 'instant delivery'.

Arthur is no victim.

He just wasnt good enough on or off pitch to be untouchable and seems to rate himself too highly.

Nor does he hold any power of amigos that club are terrified to move on.

Under Pep players were gone quicker than two seasons if not good enough. So dont try and revise history of Barca always been this patient club if players not producing.

He doesn't lack potential and isn't that much of a cunt. He's just a bit juvenile, but definitely salvagable. He'll also likely play with Cristiano so he has a beacon of professionalism and Alex Sandro who also speak Portuguese right there on his side of the pitch to learn from and mesh with. If he's daft enough to not try to make that work from the start then fair enough. These things are often about a group fit as much as they are about personal responsibility. We'll see.

Pretty much what I am thinking aswell. People writing him off imo too early especially with the performances he had in his first season at Barca and the Copa America that followed after.

As long as he gets his shit together especially mentally , It wouldnt surprise me if he becomes a success at Juve.

Jamdav sounds like Yoda sometimes.

So, Pique Suarez and Vidal have been good enough on the pitch the last two years, that's why they are untouchable??

Lol

It seems you hate Arthur a lot, but at least get your arguments straight
