17 year old kid who is 1st teamer for Djurgardens who are one of the better Swedish teams and playing in Europe as well.
Big clubs in England like Newcastle circling.

Massive offers ( for them ) from clubs like Eintracht who are known to be astute in the transfer market.

This is exactly the sort of signing we should be making rather than some proven mediocre scrub.

Get it over the line. Stop fucking around for a few million here and there. We have the pull, but don't take the piss, otherwise he will go elsewhere like so many before him.

News is from Barca sources primarily which suggests we can't find the palanca to afford him.

Next we will probably here that Bergvall wanted to join Barcelona but his club wanted too much.

Laporta was in Saudi, Qatar and UAE for 2-3 weeks to find a palanca or a business opportunity for the club and it seems like the only thing he found was the buffets.

They are lucky they inherited the players they have as their signings have not been good enough.

Missing out on young players while have huge money out on likes of Lewanowski at 35 and rumoured to go up further at 36.

So, are we going to see any free transfers this year? Last few years the rumours started around this time despite the player not signing until the end of the season. This year there are no fresh rumours after loose talks before the season about likes of Ndidi, Thiago, Miranda and Guido.

The list is just underwhelming tbh, Nico Williams and Morata were the real prizes and both renewed. Ndidi or Guedo could be upgrade over Romeu as back up DM.

Most interested in getting a new back up GK, seems like there is good upgrades over Peña

Merit and Valles has team options for another year in their contracts so we can scratch them out, Cleiton is Brazilian so his contract ends in summer.
This leaves Casteels, Dimitrievski & Rönnow as top options.
Don't know about Rönnow, but Casteels was generally a solid GK, even linked to Bayern.

Dimitrievski was linked to us before, had his ups and downs but is a sure upgrade over Peña. Has been in Spain for ages, knows the league and most likely knows the language and will settle in easily.

We were linked to Casteels half a decade back. Also to Farinez 5+ years ago too, but I think he has been injured for about 18 months.

Valles or Dimi would be the best for us from that list (ofc Valles has the extension option). Valles has been one of the best goalkeepers in the league this season and generated big club interest.

Perhaps the big Chilean as an outside bet but contract up December, not summer.

Guimares could be more likely than a lot of others due to Newcastle being restricted by FFP and perhaps fancy some ever so slightly inflated swaps... if players willing to go there.

Why we discuss this guy being under FFP rules anyway? I understand media clickbait us, but it's unrealistic signing at this point.
