why people keep on bringing "Bojan's last few games from the past season"? That had its importance, but you cannot live from past victories in football. The only thing that matters is the present and thorugh the entire season Bojan hasn't reached the level required for a sub in Barcelona let alone be for a starter. The situation is worrying, a player at his age needs to grow in as many aspects of his game as possible but he seems to be going backwards. Something must be done in order to recapture the potencial he once showed or he will be on his way to be one big flop. The "9" is not for him, he should earn it and he hasn't.

This. I think the #9 didn't do him any good. He's been a flop this season, what he did in the last doesn't mattter anymore.

But he's not going anywhere... got his contract renewed until 2015.

Something must be done with Bojan, if the problem is with his mentality as many here believe, he should treat it, mentality is almost as important as skills in football. If he needs more playing time then he should be loaned out, he won't get it here. This is not just for Barca's sake but for the player himself. He could be one amazing striker it would be sad if he doesn't get the means to develope into one

Giving a huge contract to Bojan could be a way of telling he's really valued to the club, but they would like him to go on loan for some time. He never accepted to go out because he was possibly afraid he won't ever be considered again to be bought back... Now that he's got his contract may be he will consider that option
