Erling Haaland

Dortmund tried almost 800 passes today. He attempted 10.

Would be fun seeing him in Barca

In other news, Mateu Morey started for them. Apparently did well before an injury.

He would be a 'luxury' player for Barcelona. Just like Messi, or Suarez. It worked with these two when they were at the top, and I think elderly Messi and young Haaland at the same time can just about work as well.
But it is a big decision to go for him, because he doesn't "fit" with the rest of the team, as it should be. He would need to score a lot, and work a lot, in order to motivate his place in the team, nevermind the transfer fee and the wage, which will probably be high.

Guess there is a thread for Morey, would be interesting to get the "basic gestalt" on him. Saw him with half an eye in a couple of CL games, looked decent enough, but I don't have a very good opinion on him yet. But it is remarkable that a canterano RB can play for Dortmund but not for Barcelona...

Its not a surprise, really.
Saw a study recently, that said Haaland generally took few touches compared to most other attackers, even strikers.

When you bring player like that , I think barca players would feed him with passess.

There would be few actions , something like Alba Messi , because he has great movememt

If braith with his passing and finishing skills has scores crucial goals and given good assists for us, I reckon haland would cope..
We need a killer finisher to be a top contender again.
No matter how much we improve our overall play, it all comes down to scoring.

With Haaland you can get Fati closer to goal as a support striker.

Horrible thought incoming but with Haaland, Griezmann might actually be good.

The question is can they coexist with a 3rd forward in a 433? Ansu-Haaland-Griezmann (given Messi leaves)? I am really not sure. Copying France or Atleticos setup would suck, especially over a whole league season.

I just hope we look at other talents if Haaland doesnt materialize (quite likely). I would be just as excited for Malen, Daka etc pp.

He's just about the worst fit for Barca. Also we're never getting him considering the price and that every other club is after him.

He is a very good fit, someone who can put the ball in the back of the net.

Also enables us to get the ball in the box more when teams have 11 behind the ball
