Erling Haaland

If Madrid get both him and Mbappe, then Barca can only blame themselves. No body forced the club to panic buy three 100+mil players, to give everybody huge wages, and not getting rid of players on time.

Real Madrid can shed like 65m of wages next summer so they can afford to take on both, wage-wise.

However will both want to play on the same team and share the spot light? I am not sure.

Halaand is insurance if Mpabbe renewed

Yeah, even though the likelihood of that (Mbappe renewing) is small, it makes sense for them to start approaching Haaland. That tweet is no longer available by the way, but I think it is quite early to reach an agreement with Haaland already, unless Haaland really wants to go there, which is possible.

There is no way Haaland and Raiola will agree to a deal a year in advance, they want to keep options open. He'll "sign" for like 6 teams over the next season before he'll officially sign somewhere.

Signing him means there would be no room for Mbappe and vice versa. There is no way in hell those two divas would want to play together.

He'll end up in the PL (maybe United) for a few years and then move on to Madrid/Bayern in his prime. Raiola won't want him staying at 1 club with those juicy agent fees

Truth. He will receive some silly proposals next off-season. Money money money..

Agents get their fees with renewals too
Halaand also has his father (former EPL player) beside him to keep his head straight.
Raiola won't change his mind for extra agent fees.

They can agree year in advance, but it won't be a final agreement.
Raiola will never work with one club during a deal, he himself admits that

Yeah, that was my point. Nothing will be official before summer 2022. Even if it will be seen as he has a closed deal with one team Raiola will still offer him in the last minute to other clubs trying to squeeze out more money.

Personally wont bother following all the rumours about him. There will be too many speculations and fake news but nobody except Raiola will really know what's going on. Not even Haaland will know all details about negotiations.

Gross or net? Doubt they can shed 65m net and if gross, they'll ask for much more than 16m net.

Gross. Roughly 30m from Bale + 16m from Marcelo + 14m from Isco, plus if Modric goes, it will free up another 16m, so altogether 76m, according to Spanish media.

Doubt your club has to do any of it to afford him. No matter what Pep says.

It has been interesting to observe the club in their signing of Grealish and pursuit of Kane. They are selling fringe players to raise finance, if the media are to be believed, looking for a buyer for Silva. Tho Silva wants more starts, and a move to Spain, it raises more finance.
I hope they do not buy Kane for anywhere near the sums mentioned.
