It's quite simple actually, I belive we played pretty bad this season, statical, slow, without movement in attack, no pressing and everything we basically concluded on this forum...so if we were to change that, if we were to improve (that more or less means new coach, sorry Tito) we would be 30-40% stronger if we don't bring anyone. That's how high I rate our players. If we change that and add some new blood, I would take Neymar, cause he is young, talented, good dribbler etc. but if we stay like this year than Bale would fit us more. Just rewind game vs Bayern, and imagine nothing changed in our game. If we hade Bale he would be able to shoot from distance, make drilling runs, causing Bayern defence trouble, imagine him scoring for 0:1, this would mean completly different game. Now imagine Neymar in our current form, he would be stuck and isolated on wing, dancing around ball, trying to dribble past 4 players...not adding anything new.

The better fullbacks always deal with him, the best fullback in the world which is Lahm would eat him up, a very one dimensional player, he is good at it but anyone that uses their footballing discipline will stump him out

Reminds me of Arjen Robben vs Barca. He was dribbling and trying to get onto his favoured foot, everyone saw that it was coming, then he did his little kick+run and scored anyway.

This was his last season for Man Utd, can hardly say he scored that many great goals... nearly all were set pieces. Bale scored the same amount with no penalties in an inferior team with less games and way better goals.

Not so sure, he is a drilling machine, always opening space, attacking the space, very hard to control. Everything what you said can be said for Ribery and Robben, Robben especially and yet they were the ones who destroyed us. Bale is not in the same class technically but he's even more powerfull. Sometimes you need to force yourself in the game, exactly what we didn't do against Bayern for example.

If Bale plays with better players then I agree I think he will be better than Ronaldo. But if he leaves it too late to play with other - better players then no he won't be.

In his last season at Man United, you could tell Ronaldo's heart was at Real Madrid already, which is why he never really gave 100% that season. The same with Fabregas in his last season at Arsenal. It is a case of a player staying a year more where he doesn't want to be.

Bale has won nothing for club and country nor proven anything at the highest level apart from a couple of good performances against top teams in the PL.

Ronaldo, when 1 year younger than Bale is right now, already won everything there was to win in England and scored in a CL-final that he and his team, Man Utd, later won. All while being the best and most important player for his team. Not to mention that he also won the Ballon d'Or and scored 42 goals in a season when only 23 years old during the 2007-2008 season.

Bale wil never reach the level of Ronaldo.

You lot are fucking clueless. Bale does not fit barcas style at all. He is a counter attacker who needs space to attack into. At bArca it's the compete opposite and you need dribbling in tight areas and one two passing on the edge of the box hitch bale doesn't have.
