Dont know about that. The classic 9 is becoming almost redundant nowadays. Falcao, Torres and Eto are the last of a dying breed. Basically nowadays you're expected to do more then just hang around waiting to poke the ball into the net.

Eto's game was not just standing around and waiting to poke the ball,his game is much more than that, watch his goals on youtube. Dongou can also drop deep and participate in the buildup play, he can also play from the wing, in their last game he won a penalty that was denied by dribbling 3 defenders on the right wing.

Neither of those "just hang around waiting to poke the ball into the net"... They're all top strikers (was in the case of Torres) due to their movement and attacking intelligence, not because of their finishing ability alone.

It's great to see everybody and their mother having an opinion on Dongou, when they've began following him recently (not saying there are those who haven't followed him from his Cadete years, but you catch my drift.)

Dongou has been an immense player over the past 4 years and has always been on the radar due to his ability to play in all of the forward positions. He is an intelligent passer, with a great eye for bagging goals and great intelligence. It's true that he hasn't always played on the wings, but more centrally during the previous years, but he has shown he is capable of adapting to other positions as well.
