Messi was its own institution. Never forget we had the greatest player of all time playing his whole prime for this club. I cant really understand how some people who are Barca fans can really hate him... Amigos and everything else included.

Don't forget his insane sign-on fee and whatever bonuses we don't yet know about, so in reality, he is by far the best paid player.

In terms of club football, there is no reason he should be paid more than Vinicius, when the first just has better feats at club level at this point, and no, i don't care about international, so don't bring it up.

But fine, he dropped his obsession for money, to finally get serious about club football, fair enough.

Anyone that believes these figures from a Marca journalist should send me their bank details, because you have just won 25 million Turkish Lira.

They are using the same trick as Manchester City where the official wage is only a fraction of what the player gets paid in his pocket.

That's where Tebas comes in and turns a blind eye. Just like he did when Madrid had the highest net spend in world football the year before COVID and came out buying 100m players every season after ( The only non EPL club not named PSG to do so. ) All whilst spending billions on a new stadium. And the gullible public believe it is all legit because of some mythical accounting that Madrid present themselves.

Furthermore, the Madrid government have brought about a new law to facilitate this transfer. They have drastically reduced the level of tax high income tax payers have to pay in Madrid. This law has been labelled the ' Mbappe ' law in Spain. Google it.

State funded, government backed and LaLiga president all on board to help one club and hinder all the others.
