It seems badly organised this event. From this to the food, to the facilities to the state of the river water for the distance swimmers.

Yeah true, I shouldn't have referred to the status of the athlete. They should all be treated equally and have access to the same facilities, from the most famous to the most obscure.

Damn you're right, thanks. When they showed the tournament tree after Germany's game, I didn't notice the spanish flag, so I assumed they're out. They also write her Russian last name, instead of her spanish sometimes, so maybe that was also the reason. But they beat Netherlands actually. Best girl is still in the race!

There's loads of potentially interesting stuff on today, all clashing with each other. It's the same most days. As Loki says, we need three weeks to showcase more sports.
How many handball/hockey/volleyball etc players aren't getting enough exposure because their sports are clashing too much with swimming and athletics? It looks like they try to mitigate it by putting some matches of these team sports on in the afternoon between morning and evening sessions of the more notorious sports, but still.
You can argue that fans of individual sports will watch their own favourite, but the beauty of the Olympics is watching sports you don't know much about and normally don't follow. There needs to be an extra week.
