There is rumors Alonso might be leaving since he hasn't renewed his contract and next season will be his last. But other say that Illaramendi will share games with Xabi alonso so that Xabi alonso can play the most important games and get rested more often.
Illaramendi is called to be Xabi Alonso's replacement in the future anyways.

That's a big price tag, Bayern got Gotze for 37M. Getting these youngsters is nice, but it remains to be seen how well they can integrate them all into an effective team. That's even assuming these individuals have the character to withstand the pressure of being at Real Madrid.

Guess Madrid is thinking they are doing La Liga a favour by giving their money to the spanish clubs like malaga or sociedad who really need it
